Macter’s approach to corporate social responsibility is grounded in the belief that access to healthcare extends beyond products. As a healthcare organisation, our role includes contributing to public health awareness, supporting medical access, and responding to community needs where they are most critical.
This commitment is reflected through sustained engagement with patients, healthcare professionals and broader communities across Pakistan.
Macter has supported vaccination and public health initiatives across the country, including nationwide Hepatitis B vaccination programmes conducted in collaboration with partner organisations. These initiatives have focused on expanding access and improving awareness across all four provinces.
Macter participated in national disaster response efforts, including relief initiatives following the 2005 Kashmir earthquake and the 2010 Pakistan floods.
As part of these efforts, Macter deployed a fully equipped mobile medical unit to support affected communities, enabling access to treatment in areas where healthcare infrastructure had been disrupted.
Access remains a central focus of Macter’s CSR efforts. We support communities through the distribution of medicines and by working to make essential treatments more accessible across regions.
Macter has contributed to raising awareness across a range of health conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory conditions, hepatitis and other chronic and infectious diseases. These efforts are aimed at encouraging early identification and timely medical intervention.
Macter continues to support the medical community at both national and international levels through initiatives that promote knowledge-sharing and clinical awareness, with the broader objective of strengthening healthcare outcomes.
Macter approaches responsibility as an ongoing commitment, reflected in how it operates, engages and contributes across the communities it serves.
