Indications
It acts as an antacid in dyspepsia and is used for the symptomatic relief of hyperacidity associated with peptic ulceration, gastritis, esophageal reflux with heartburn, and gastric hyperacidity. It may be of benefit if symptomatic relief could not be obtained with antacid therapy alone.
